        it-sa 2022: Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity presents new R&S®SITLine ETH-XL network encryptor with 2 x 100 Gbit/s

        IT security specialist Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity will showcase the new high-speed network encryptor R&S SITLine ETH-XL at the upcoming it-sa. This is the first network encryptor to offer 2 x 100 Gbit/s, covering a spectrum of bandwidth requirements from 10 Gbit/s up to 100 Gbit/s. The company will also present the compact Ethernet encryptor R&S SITLine ETH-S with up to 10 Gbit/s and the “Secure Workstation” approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for classification level VS-NfD (RESTRICTED) based on R&S Trusted Endpoint Suite.

        Munich, September 27, 2022 - Digitalization is steadily increasing the amount of data processed in public authorities and companies - at the same time, the requirements for data security and the protection of digital communications are also increasing due to more cybercrime. This is where securing cross-site communications using Layer 2 encryption plays a key role. To this end, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity is presenting the first network encryptor with 2 x 100 Gbit/s capability at this year's it-sa. R&S SITLine ETH-XL is suitable for use at central critical infrastructure sites and data centers and easily secures even large and complex networks. Users benefit from full line speed with extremely low latency. Integration into the existing IT landscape enables a central management system with intuitive user guidance. R&S SITLine ETH-XL combines a modern hardware-software architecture with the latest cryptography and secures infrastructures in the long term and sustainably.

        With R&S SITLine ETH-S, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity is also presenting a basic security solution for cross-site network communications with a transmission rate of up to 10 Gbit/s. The central security management system of the compact Ethernet encryptor ensures simple and efficient operation. It is extremely energy efficient and quiet due to a fanless design. All Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity network encryptors are based on 30 years of crypto expertise and are "Security Made in Germany."

        Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity will also present the innovative R&S Trusted Endpoint Suite security solution, which recently received VS-NfD (RESTRICTED) approval from the German Federal Office for Information Security as a "secure workstation" and is aimed in particular at government agencies and companies which are obliged to secrecy. The secure workstation consists of two components on a unified software architecture: R&S Trusted VPN Client and R&S Trusted Disk. R&S Trusted VPN Client protects the network communication of a client platform (Windows laptop, tablet) with a government or corporate network over an untrusted network such as the Internet. R&S Trusted Disk encryption protects sensitive data from unauthorized access with secure and transparent encryption in real time without restricting productivity even in the event of loss or theft.

        R&S Browser in the Box: R&S Browser in the Box allows users to surf the Internet without attackers gaining access to corporate or government networks. The virtualized browser closes the Internet security gap by providing a digital quarantine for hacker attacks: malware is isolated before it can be executed. This mechanism also protects against attacks via email attachments. R&S Browser in the Box was named "Software Product of the Year" and "Product of the Year" at the Network Computing Awards in July 2022.

        R&S ELCRODAT 7-FN: As an ALL-IP communications platform, the crypto device from Rohde & Schwarz SIT enables interdepartmental secure communications with encrypted transmission of information such as telephony and video up to the classification level SECRET / NATO & EU SECRET. Encryption takes place end-to-end between crypto devices without interruption. Common commercial telephone and video systems can be used as VoIP end devices. R&S ELCRODAT 7-FN meets all the requirements of a modern crypto device; in particular, quantum computer-resistant crypto algorithms have already been implemented.

        LANCOM Systems will present state-of-the-art cloud-managed security and the enhanced functionality of the LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls with SD-WAN and security in a lean one-box solution. The LANCOM Management Cloud is hosted in Germany and enables simple, centralized implementation of network segment separation through automatic, cross-device VLAN management. Furthermore, options for securing the necessary transitions between individual security zones and network segments by integrating firewalls and routers will be shown. LANCOM also shows for the first time a preview of its future ZTNA solution for the secure integration of home and mobile office workstations.
